It has been hot for the last 3 weeks, I can’t  seem to get on the computer when it is hot. The room that it is in is in the sun most of the day and it is really to hot to go into to work.

We have had a gazebo for over 6 years and it has only been out once, this time it has been up for 3 weeks and we have been sitting out most days from breakfast to teatime. Lots of fun with our family during the World cup and beyond.

I used it for 2 of my workshops and we have had 2 very productive days, my ladies enjoyed the change and crocheting in the fresh air..

Well I don’t seem to have done too much, bits of this and that I suppose, I have 3 mandala patterns almost ready and am still checking Florence Elizabeths bedtime set.

I have lots of wool still to be washed and rewound, our Niddy Noddy has been well used making hanks ready for sale.

Louise and I are also preparing for the show in August.

Phil is semi retired yet again and that is slowing down all my jobs, we keep having super days out. This week it was Lordstones with Louise and Peter, last week Seaham harbour…

We stood for ages watching the pilot bring a ship into the harbour, it was amazing how he manouvered it into the small entrance.

Louise has enjoyed knitting socks and produced lots of pairs, alas I have knitted 4 socks all different and 3 were pulled out one the pattern was not working, two and that was really long almost to my knees, three the yarn was not patterning as it was supposed to, so now I have almost completed an actual pair. Rose City Rollers using a ball of Opal Sport….
